The nSide Lockdown Door Magnet is a magnetic lock plate cover designed to allow you to keep your classroom door locked at all times without latch closing.
You will place the magnet over your classroom door’s latch and lock the door The magnet will allow the door open and close your door as normal through-out the day. In an emergency, pull the tab and close the door., securing your room in seconds. Simple is essential when seconds matter.
You will be prompted with an option to choose a left or right tab side. It is important to identify the correct side to ensure that your pull tab is inside your classroom when the door is shut.
An easy rule of thumb to follow: When standing inside your classroom looking out, you will need to identify which side of the door from your strike plate is located. If your strike plate is located on the left side, you will need to purchase a "Left Hand" magnet. If your strike plate is located on the right side, you will need to purchase a "Right Hand" magnet.
Right-Hand magnets have pull tabs located on the right and Left-Hand magnets have tabs located on the left.
